Donna over on Girl Who Reads asked me to do this, so here you go!
What is the working title of your book?
Harvest Treats
Where did the idea come from for the book?
Harvest Treats is the third book in our Candy Collection. Since all the books have included a season treat, we went with the fall idea for our fall release.
What genre does your book fall under?
Harvest Treats is a collection of romantic short stories. The four books in this collection will be Young Adult.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
Speaking for only my book in the collection, A Journey Home, I see Bradley Cooper playing Travis and Kate Hudson playing Penelope.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
A fall treat to warm your heart, and sooth your soul.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
Renaissance Romance Publishing will be publishing the Anthology, along with the four solo ebooks that make up the collection.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It took me about three weeks to write the first draft of A Journey Home.
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Any of the six books in the first two books in the collection. In one way or another, each book is about learning to let go and allow yourself to find love.
Who or What inspired you to write this book?
As usual, my family is a huge inspiration for me.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
Harvest Treats marks the debut of two new authors, Elizabeth M. Lawrence and S. A. Jones. We're honored to have them along for this journey.
My weekly tips posts are just a glimpse of what will be included in my
book. If you've been blogging 6 months or more you will find useful
information on creating new content and expanding your audience.
